Behaviour Buddy - Chesterfield

A specialist school in Chesterfield is looking to meet with enthusiastic Teaching Assistants who are looking for day to day or long-term work within SEND as a behaviour buddy.

The school caters for pupils with ASD with most pupils having difficulties with communication and some pupils with PMLD/SLD. The age groups are 8 -19 although pupils are grouped by ability and needs.

The Role:

• 8:30am to 3:30pm, during term times.
• Assisting pupils with challenging behaviour with their daily tasks and activities.
• Working in a small classroom of 6-8 pupils.
• Day to day or long-term roles, on a temporary to permanent basis.
