Early Years Teaching Assistant/Nursery Practitioner
Your new company
You will be working as an Early Years Teaching Assistant for Primary Schools and Nurseries across the Blackburn area. You will need to be flexible in your approach to work in order to be an Early Years Teaching Assistant as you may need to cover illness for short and long term positions.
Your new role
There are a number of private and public nurseries that work alongside Hays for both their temporary and permanent staffing needs. This is a perfect role for childcare practitioners who want flexible work, to gain experience, develop existing skills or to get back into early years. A well as the temporary day to day work there will also be opportunities for permanent work.
What you'll need to succeed
The key to any successful applicant is having previous experience within a nursery or early years setting. On top of this we also look for level 3 childcare practitioners, however, depending on experience level 2 may be accepted. Flexibility is vital as you may be at different settings on different days sometimes with short notice. We always try to give at least 24 hours notice however, at times you may be called early in the mornings on the day you are needed.
