National Sales Account Executive
Salary to £35K + Benefits
Remote based - national coverage
Our client is a leading national apprenticeship training provider.
To work with new and existing employer key accounts at a senior level, the National Sales Account Executive will grow existing accounts through the promotion and engagement with both new and existing levy and non-levy paying employers to maximise the engagement of vocational learning programmes. You will be responsible for expanding the range of products and services offered as well as identifying new revenue/funding streams.
Duties and Responsibilities
To build strategic relationships with senior members of company’s key accounts in order to maximise contract and future growth
To provide practical information and advice to levy paying and non-levy employers on the apprenticeship levy and wider funding reforms.
To advise key accounts of the features benefits and incentives of both apprenticeship frameworks and standards ensuring the promotion wider added value qualification as part of an overall training solutions package
To develop training solutions to clients that encourage the increased take up of apprenticeship programmes and other company services by employers
To negotiate and develop a service level agreement with key accounts identifying agreed delivery requirements, costs and payment schedules
To work with internal and external colleagues to ensure professional promotion and engagement of all programmes
To support the business in utilizing available funding contracts
To identify current and future capability gaps with employers and offer initiatives to address these with clients
To promote a learning culture for the client through workforce planning, talent management, succession planning and leadership development
To pro-actively engage with key accounts to ensure the volumes of funded learners on programme, occupational area and priority age group meet profile and target expectations
To remain updated with developments in the skills sector.
To Increase volumes of learners across a portfolio of existing and new key accounts contributing towards the overall target for learner starts
Good standard of secondary education.
Previous key account management experience
Proven sales experience
Experience of presenting to employers/clients at higher level
Must be computer literate and a good level of ICT skills
Proven experience of using recruitment systems
Knowledge of the skills sector funding reforms including the apprenticeship levy
Knowledge of the development of apprenticeship standards
Experience with the skills and education sector
Sound knowledge of vocational training programmes.
Degree in Sales and Marketing (or equivalent)
