Learning and Development Manager

Learning and Development Manager, £30-40k plus car allowance, London/Rugby

Our client, are one of the UK's largest training providers is seeking a Learning and Development Manager to join the team working on a national basis. The purpose of the role is to ensure that the company maximises the potential of all employees by supporting in the development and implementation of a Talent Development strategy.

Responsibilities will include:

Together with the HR Executive develop, lead and implement an talent development strategy.

Prepare, implement and control the annual learning and development budget.

Lead on the review and development of the corporate induction programme.

Together with key personnel, lead on the review and development of the company's performance management processes.

To lead and ensure that the company continues to retain Investors in People standard.

Lead manage and develop the Learning and Development Team into a cohesive and client focused team

Lead and develop cost effective solutions that maximises the use of technology

Together with key personnel, develop a range of soft skills and management development initiatives which enhances the capability of the entire business.

To be successful in this role, you will need to have proven track record of developing and implementing learning and development strategies. You must also have experience in an operational team management role, including budgetary control. Also a proven track record of consistently achieving financial and performance targets.

The role will involve extensive travel on a national basis. This role is paying a salary of £30-40k plus a car allowance of £350 per month,
