Protocol Education are currently searching for experienced, and/or newly qualified teachers to work with one of our highly trusted clients; a leading special needs school based in the heart of Chessington.

You will be working with Primary aged SEN children, who will need to be taught on a low MLD or low GCSE level, so experience of being able to teach KS2 to KS5 is essential.

The role is for a January start, 5 days a week; running through to the end of the academic year. It will begin on a temporary basis, with the potential of successful, and highly rated teachers securing a permanent position with the school itself.

This is a fantastic opportunity if you are an NQT and are wanting to kick-start your career and get into the teaching field. Equally, this can be an exciting, new opportunity for experienced teachers, who are searching for a new, deeply rewarding challenge.

Your day-to-day role will include:

  • Teaching and conducting lessons and lesson plans to a small classroom of 6-8 pupils with disabilities, ranging from, autism, ADHD, SEMH, challenging behaviour, and so on.
  • Assisting the pupils with any challenges or obstacles that they may be facing and putting a smile on their face every day!
  • Working on either a day-to-day or long-term basis, from 8:30am to 3:30pm, during term times.

Ideal candidates will have:

  • A QTS qualification, or the overseas equivalent. (NQT's are welcome!)
  • Previous experience of working in a school setting, on either a primary or secondary level.
  • Experience of working in a SEN environment is preferred, but not essential.
  • A passion for working with special needs children and wanting to make a difference.

The benefits of working with Protocol Education:

  • We can provide you with flexible work- perfect for if you have a busy schedule.
  • We can provide successful candidates with guaranteed, local work in their area.
  • You will receive a competitive pay package, depending on your level of experience and qualifications.
  • We provide you with a dedicated consultant who stays by your side throughout the entire process.

If this role interests you, please email your most recently updated CV and cover letter, to (email address removed). All successful candidates will be contacted within 3 working days.
