A brilliant school in the beautiful green London borough of Barnet is currently looking for a Sociology Teacher to start immediately.

The role will be to teach Sociology up to an including KS5 of the national curriculum.

About the school:

  • A Catholic School providing education to approximately 1000 students aged 11-19;
  • Located in the green borough of Barnet, close to Mill Hill and Finchley;

Key responsibilities of the role include:

  • Planning and delivering lessons in accordance with UK national curriculum standards for Sociology;
  • Continuous marking and reporting on student progress and achievement;
  • Participation in various School wide CPD programmes and staff briefings.

To be considered for the role of Sociology Teacher in Barnet, all candidates must fulfil the following criteria:

  • Enhanced DBS disclosure;
  • Recognised Teaching qualifications;
  • Eligibility to live and work in the UK.
