Cover Supervisors needed for Cheshire based schools

Your new company
Hays are the leading recruiter for the Education sector and therefore work with a number of schools throughout the Cheshire and surrounding areas. As the new academic year approaches, we always have an increase in demand for supply teachers in September and therefore need to ensure we have the staff available.

Your new role
Joining Hays as an unqualified teacher, you will be responsible for managing classrooms of between 25 and 30 pupils within secondary schools. You will be responsible for managing behaviour, delivering pre-planned work, ensuring a positive learning environment is maintained and ensuring all pupils are completing the required work. You will regularly be in the same schools which will be based throughout the Cheshire and surrounding areas, therefore will build strong working relationships with schools.

What you'll need to succeed
In order to be successful in securing this position, you must have previously taught children between the ages of 11 and 16 within an educational setting, ideally having managed groups of pupils on your own. This experience must also have been for a minimum of 40 days within the last 1-2 years. You will have a proactive approach, as well as have a passion for working with children.

What you'll get in return
In return, you will be paid a competitive daily rate and will gain experience working alongside successful teachers, therefore developing your knowledge of the education sector. You will also have an attractive work life balance, as this role can be completed on a part or full time basis, therefore you will have flexibility in regards to your working pattern. Should you be looking to qualify as a teacher in the future, this is an excellent route to take in order to build up a knowledge of the education sector.
