Teaching Assistants needed for Secondary Schools in Greater Manchester.

Your new company
You will represent Hays Education in a variety of Secondary schools as a passionate Supply Teaching Assistant on either day-to-day, short-term or long-term assignments. All the schools that you will work in have strong relationships with Hays, so will treat you as part of the team every time.

Your new role
Your job as a Supply Teaching Assistant will require being flexible and able to take on work day-to-day. You will be committed to developing child development as well as confident to work in a variety of schools. Your job will involve working in a Secondary setting and either working as a general Teaching Assistant and/or 1:1 to support children with SEN.

What you'll need to succeed
To be successful you must have recent and relevant experience as an teaching assistant, either in a voluntary or paid capacity. You must also have a passion for working with pupils of all ages and be dedicated to making a positive impact on their learning and development. You will have a Level 2 or higher qualification or alternatively extensive experience supporting children in the Secondary phase. You will need to have good time keeping and preparation skills in order to be a fantastic asset to the school. As per Department for Education (DfE) guidelines you will need to be able to provide full identification copies and reference details from the relevant experience you have previously gained in this or a similar setting.
