History Teacher needed for January start through to July in Hereford.

Your new school

Is a mixed comprehensive secondary school in Hereford. It is a voluntary aided school, which takes children from the age of 11 through to the age of 16. The school was formed in 1973, which was the year that Herefordshire switched from the tripartite system to a comprehensive education system. The new comprehensive school was formed by the merger of two Church of England secondary modern schools.

Your new role

You will be required to teach History up to KS5. This is a full-time, long term position to start in January through till July. The History department is well resourced and continues to be one of the most successful departments within the school. With an excellent support network and a mixture of experience this role would suit NQTs as well as experienced teachers.

What you'll need to succeed

You will need to be a confident and professional teacher with recent experience of teaching History to KS5 level. You’ll need to be committed and passionate about teaching and have the drive and desire to make a positive and lasting impact on the students learning whilst being able to maintain the highest standards.

What you'll get in return

You will work within a well resourced and thriving department, alongside confident and enthusiastic specialists all with same goals to produce an outstanding learning environment. Whilst you are in the process of looking to secure your next permanent position you will benefit from clear, supportive and honest career advice. You will receive advice and guidance from a dedicated consultant who works to find you the best possible role and outcome.
