This South Reading School is looking for a Teacher of English to cover two terms of maternity supply from January 2009. The English department is comprised of 3 full-time teachers, of which the successful applicant will be one, one of which is an Advanced Skills Teacher therefore the successful applicant can be assured of excellent training. You will be teaching KS3 and KS4 English to classes with some behavioural difficulties but these students are certainly not beyond control and in the face of some adversity exam results have been improving at the school. As a good guide this role is well within the capabilities of any good Teacher of English but perhaps unadvisable for NQT's as the ideal candidate for this role will need to hit the ground running.
