This South Berkshire School located on the outskirts of Reading is looking to recruit an energetic classroom practitioner of Science to work alongside an established team of three science specialists. The role does require a good level of classroom management and behaviour at the school can sometimes be challenging but despite this exam results have recently begun to improve. The role will allow the successful applicant to experience and practice team teaching and have the support of a teaching team with high moral.

Skills

A solid working knowledge of the British national curriculum

The ability to teach science to Key Stage 4

Good classroom management

Enthusiasm and energy in the classroom

A desire to be teaching Science in the British school system

Personal Qualities

Able to work as part of a team

An affable and approachable teaching style

A positive attitude

The desire to inspire children in a difficult working environment
