Teacher of Biology Start Date: 05/01/2009This East Berkshire Independent Co-educational School for 11-18 is looking to appoint a Teacher of Biology for 2 terms of Maternity Cover from January 2009. The role will entail the teaching of Biology to KS4 and General Science Teaching at Key Stage 3. You must be a qualified Science Teacher and have the current experience to deliver in the classroom. If successful the prospective teacher will be able to utilise excellent lab facilities complete with data projectors, that allow for internet and virtual experiment capacities, in every the classroom. The department is 7 strong and this includes the current vacancy. The school itself has a pupil roll of just over 700 and is attaining 95% A* - C at GCSE. Science is flourishing at the school with two sets in the Sixth form for each of the major Sciences.
