Teacher of Geography and P.E

This East Berkshire State Comprehensive is looking for a Teacher of P.E to teach up to A-level who can apply their classroom skills to Geography to Key Stage 3. The role has come about as a result of two senior staff taking on further responsibilities that have moved them away from the classroom. P.E is the overriding concern with this role and a good P.E specialist with the desire to expand into Humanities classroom teaching will be fully supported in this role.

Skills :You must have Qualified Teacher Status in the UK, or an equivalent overseas qualification with UK teaching experience. This will allow you to deliver the National Curriculum and be properly equipped to deal with classroom management. You will be committed to raising standards and have good organisational and interpersonal skills.

Classroom Skills :

Teaching Physical Education to KS5

Preferably experience of Teaching Geography

A willingness to apply yourself to the classroom teaching of Geography

Current experience of teaching the National Curriculum
