Teacher of Science (preference for Chemistry)

This Surrey School is looking for a Teacher of Chemistry to provide two terms of cover for a strong science department. The School is looking for an experienced Teacher of Science who can start in January and complete two terms of cover. There will be support from the established Science department but this school is looking for someone who has the prior experience to work alone, with a manageable amount of guidance, to teach the national curriculum.

You must have Qualified Teacher Status in the UK, or an equivalent overseas qualification with UK teaching experience. This will allow you to deliver the National Curriculum and be properly equipped to deal with classroom management. You will be committed to raising standards and have good organisational and interpersonal skills

Excellent Teacher

Experience of Science to KS3 and 4

Thorough understanding of the National Curriculum

Good understanding of assessment procedures
