This Reading independent school is looking for a Teacher of History and Games master from January 2009 for a period of long-term cover. The role will entail morning classes of History to Key Stage 3 and afternoon Games lessons which will involve the active supervision of high standard school sports.

Being an independent school it is not a necessary requirement that teaching staff be professionally trained, however teaching must be provided to a high standard.

Skills

Current work experience of History teaching

Experience and ability in supervising Games

The desire to take on a role that is mixed between classroom and the sports field Personal attributes

A passionate teacher

Excellent classroom management and professional judgement

A conviction to maintaining the school ethos
