Supply Teacher

Due to the continued expansion of Hays Education, we are seeking to recruit enthusiastic Secondary Teachers. We can offer flexible work on either a day-day supply, long-term or permanent basis to match the requirements of the individual.

Essential requirements:

Qualified teachers are required with a PGCE or equivalent. Newly Qualified teachers are welcome as are equivalently qualified overseas teachers. Unqualified teachers are required to have recent experience working in a school environment.

All Hays Educations teachers have a responsibility to promote and safeguard the welfare of children and young people with whom they come into contact.

Desired key skills include:

Good behaviour management

Strong subject knowledge

Adaptability & flexibility

The ability to interact with pupils to impact on the teaching and learning

You will be assigned to a personal consultant based locally who will meet with you face to face, who specialises in secondary education. Your consultant will place you in a post that matches your experience and will personally liaise with schools on your behalf. We offer competitive daily rates based on your experience and feedback from schools, combined with a timetable to suit the individual. Hays Education also offers accredited CPD courses for all their supply staff.
