 |  | A high achieving South Gloucestershire school are looking to appoint an exceptional teacher of Science to join them from November 2008. The school has an excellent local and regional reputation for the quality of its educational provision and facilities. They appreciate the many clubs and societies within the school and the value its international links. The desired candidate would be able to deliver Science to Key Stages 3 and 4. The successful candidate will be required to take responsibility for the planning, preparation and assessment of lessons, ensuring that work is appropriately differentiated to stay relevant to mixed ability groups.
You must have Qualified Teacher Status in the UK, or an equivalent overseas qualification with UK teaching experience. This will allow you to deliver the National Curriculum and be properly equipped to deal with classroom management. You will be committed to raising standards and have good organisational and interpersonal skills. Energy, ambition and enthusiasm are a must!
Skills, Knowledge and Aptitude:
.Prior expereince of teaching Science .Degree in a Science based subject .Enthusiasm, energy and commitment to children of all abilities .Ability to work as part of a team
