QTS Teacher of English

A school in South Birmingham is looking for a passionate Fully Qualified Teacher of English for a Maternity Cover. The post is to commence from Sept 2010 and run until the end of the academic year. The candidate would need to be able to set the schemes of work, mark, and plan and prepare and take on all of the duties of a Full-time member of staff.

The right candidate should have the following:

QTS or at least 6 months teaching experience
Teach English to Key Stage 3 and KS4
Be prepared to plan, mark work, get involved in departmental meetings and act as a Form Tutor
Be resourceful, enthusiastic, dynamic and passionate.
Be able to communicate with their consultant
Work as a team within the department and the school as a whole
