A lovely independent school located in the London Borough of Bent is on a hunt for an experienced lower KS2 teacher with a good knowledge of Primary ICT Curriculum.

The successful applicant will be in charge of preparation, planning and assessment of Year 3 and Year 4 the average class size is 7-20 children. The role will be a long term contract starting in September 2018 and lasting for at least a year. The school is hoping to employ the candidate on a permanent contract at some point as well.

This is a great opportunity to join a fantastic dynamic young team at a school of high working ethos and very well behaved children. Our client is looking for a candidate with a vast teaching experience, who has an excellent work-ethic, can-do' attitude and ability to work within the minimum supervision. The school is seeking a teacher who is willing to commit to the role, must have prior experience of teaching lower KS2 and have good knowledge of using ICT in the classroom. You will be able to create an engaging, inclusive and inspiring atmosphere in the classroom and differentiate activities depending on the needs of individual children. On top of this, the role will involve preparing regular reports, so you will also need to be highly organised, have strong time management skills, and be able to take own initiative when necessary.

Essential requirements:

  • A Qualified Teacher Status (either a PGCE or Cert Ed.)
  • A minimum of 3 years UK teaching experience.
  • Knowledge of KS2 National Curriculum and the ability to plan differentiated work.
  • A valid DBS or willing to undertake one.
  • Eligible to work in the UK.
  • Excellent teaching references
  • Strong behaviour management skills.

Additionally, the candidates must be available for interviews immediately, as the school would like to appoint as soon as possible.
