I am working with a friendly and welcoming two form entry primary school in West Bridgford, to recruit a talented and engaging Year 6 teacher. If you have a teaching qualification, relevant experience and are looking for a fresh challenge then I would love to hear from you. The role is to commence as soon as possible for the duration of the academic year.

Your new company
The primary school I am working with is a two form entry school graded ‘Good’ in West Bridgford, Nottingham. The school aims to develop students academically and works hard to get them involved in extracurricular activities as much as possible. The Head Teacher epitomises the schools vision of progress and you would be welcomed as an integral part of the team.

Your new role
You will need to quickly take charge of Year 6, quickly building rapport with the students to understand individual learning journeys which will enable pupil progress. You will be working with some fantastic support and be expected to deliver high quality lessons built around the curriculum whilst maintaining management of the class at all times. The school is particularly interested in finding teachers who can engage with the pupils to allow them to express themselves academically. The role is to commence as soon as possible for the duration of the academic year.

What you'll need to succeed
In order to apply for this role you will need to have a qualified teacher’s status and be able to provide at least two relevant references from the last two years. Due to the nature of the position, you will need to have experience of working within Year 6. An ability to plan observatory lessons accordingly that are in line with the curriculum, whilst maintaining strong behaviour management skills in order to enhance a child’s learning will help you excel in your new role.
