SEN Teaching Assistant

This outstanding SEN Secondary school in South Warwickshire is recruiting for a 1:1 Teaching Assistant who is preferably male due to needs of the student to support year 8 male.

Your new role
The successful candidate will be working closely with this Autistic pupil on a long term basis in order to maintain their development and act as their first point of support. What you'll need to succeed To be successful you must have recent and relevant experience as an SEN teaching assistant, working with children with Autism, either in a voluntary or paid capacity. You must also have a passion for working with children who have challenging behaviour, be dedicated to making a positive impact on their learning and development alternatively SEN experience supporting children who have emotional and behavioural difficulties (EBD) or exercise other complex and challenging behaviours. The challenges you will face day to day mean you must be a dedicated Teaching Assistant with a key passion for supporting children with Special Educational Needs (SEN) and the desire to have a positive impact on building good relationships with staff and students
