Reception Teacher

This larger than average primary school, serving an area of high etnhic diversity, is looking for a Primary Teacher to teach a Reception Class from November to the end of term. The Head will pay a premium rate (over £135 a day) for a suitably qualified and experienced teacher.

Ofsted inspectors have noted that pupils 'enjoy school and their personal development is good'. They also noted that because 'spiritual, moral, social and cultural development is good, pupils behave well and...have very positive attitudes to their learning'.

The head is looking for a teacher to teach a class of up to 30 children.

You will have Qualified Teacher Status and have experience of both Reception and Key Stage 1. You must have experience of working with EAL students and be keen to get involved in extra-curricular activities, such as after-school clubs. You will have a good record of utilising Teaching Assistants to support both the SEN and Gifted and Talented.

You will receive an excellent daily rate of pay which will reflect your skills and experience. Pupils are very well behaved and are eager to learn. Inspectors stated that ' a consistent approach to managing behaviour supports pupils well so behaviour is good.'
