Morgan Hunt are recruiting a Head of Department: Care and Early Years for the leading college in Surrey.

This is a fantastic opportunity to develop you management skills within a leading college of further education in fantastic surroundings. It is a diverse college with excellent achievement rates and superb links with local businesses and civil services. The college is held in high regard by students and employers alike.

As the Head of Department you will manage the staff and quality within the team through regular performance reviews, lesson observations and mentoring. You will work closely with the work based learning team to develop links with local employers and effectively coordinate on and off job training. You will undertake 15 hours of teaching per week which may well take the form of full lessons or tutorials.

The college will offer between £34,000 and £37,000 for the role and may pay more to an exceptional candidate. The college are looking for applicants to have a solid work history within further education with staff management skills. This is a key role within the college and you will play an active role in leading the college forward.
